Redwood is a highly resonant tonewood, easily fashioned and visually beautiful. Now found primarily in California, this ancient species covered the earth for 10's of millions of years. Many of these 1000 to 2000 + years old giants were harvested 100 years ago, but the stumps and some hard to retrieve logs were left behind. All of the sets we offer are salvaged wood from these legendary trees.
